This summer we invite you to dive in with us as we take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God!

At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!

Ages 3 years (as of June 1, 2024) to 5th grade.

Snack style supper is provided.

Lynn Haven Kids

We Love Kids! And your kids will love church!

On Sunday mornings, children ages newborn through 5th grade will learn about Jesus in a safe place where faith and fun collide. Relationships with Jesus and with our small groups are the key to building trust and friendships!

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, children ages PreK-3 through 5th grade are invited to take part in AWANA Club. AWANA – which stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). This ministry is committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. AWANA includes high energy games, fun theme nights, large group bible lessons, small group handbook & prayer, and lots of opportunities to Love God and Love others through mission projects.

Our Children's Ministry Team

Led by Family Minister Mary McQuagge and Nursery Director Bobbie Copsey, our programs aim to teach important life applications from the Bible in ways kids learn best — through play, discussion, and interaction!

Our mission is to Lead children to Love God and Love Others and to equip families to do the same.

Summer Kids Night Out

Join us for Summer Fun Kids Night Out on Fri June 7th & Fri July 12th from 5:30-8:30pm for infants to just completed 5th grade! Kids will enjoy a night of games, activities, dinner and spending time with friends! Parents, please let us know if you’d like to help at one of our stations that night.

Space is limited, so register soon!

Cost: $15 per child

Last Splash Kids Night Out

Join us for a Last Splash Kids Night Out on Fri Aug 9th from 5:30-8:30pm for 3 years to just completed 4th grade! Kids will enjoy a night of games, waterslide, dinner and spending time with friends! Please wear a swimsuit and bring a towel and change of clothes.
Parents, please let us know if you’d like to help at one of our stations that night.

Cost is $20 per child.

Rising 5th Graders Fun Day 2024

This event is now FREE!

Through the generosity of a church member the costs for this event have been covered! (Includes lunch, all activities & transportation).

Mon, July 7th: 10:45am – 7:30pm　

Parent Youth Group Meeting: 10:45-11:15am

Rising 5th graders are invited to join us for a fun filled day of hanging out with friends, playing golf, lunch and more!

Parents and youth will meet up at Lynn Haven Methodist Church on July 7th at 10:45. We will have a information Parent Meeting from 10:45-11:15. Parents this will be a great way for you to find out all the awesome things your child will be doing in our Youth Group!!

Afterwards, the youth will join us for lunch and golf before heading back to the church to hang out & attend Youth Group from 6-7:30pm.

Cost: FREE!

At Lynn Haven Methodist, we love children and we’re not just saying that! It is our desire for each child to know how much they are loved and cherished by God, their Creator. We offer fun, positive and uplifting programs that are kid-centered and interactive. We look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with your children and your entire family!

V.I.P. Section

Here at Lynn Haven Methodist we want our parents (and any other interested adults to know that they are V.I.P.’s! This means that we consider you our Very Important Partners in teaching our children and youth about the love of Jesus and how to navigate some of life’s challenges in godly ways. From time to time we will share valuable information and resources covered at our Events on our website for those who missed the in person meeting or may wish to refer back to the information. ’24- ’25 AWANA REGISTRATION

Coming Fall ’24

AWANA is a weekly club that we have during the school year. AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Each week our AWANA clubbers play games, participate in mission projects, learn lessons from the Bible and work in small groups to discuss their AWANA handbook work. The kids earn awards and have fun participating in theme nights and activities!

The 2023-24 AWANA Club at Lynn Haven Methodist meets most Wednesdays until early May 2024.

Cubbies, Sparks & T & T Workbook Calendars

Parents Morning Out

Parents Morning Out is a program that provides a fun, safe place for children ages infant to Pre-K to learn early education fundamentals and enjoy daily story time, music and movement and a healthy snack.

The program runs Monday through Thursday from 9am -12pm starting Monday Aug 14th and concluding Thursday May 23rd.

Summer 2024: Parents Morning Out

Preschoolers ages 0-5 (by September 1st), will enjoy a summer full of fun here at Lynn Haven Methodist’s Parents Morning Out.

Each session runs Mon to Thur from 9 am to 12 pm on the weeks indicated below. Children will learn all about God and His creation through a variety of activities and crafts. We will also have enjoy a daily snack and play on our awesome indoor playground.

Cost is $75 per child. Drop off begins at 8:50am and pick up is promptly at 12:00pm.

“Summer in Color” week: June 3rd-6th. Children will learn what a colorful world God created us to live in & will be creating some artistic masterpieces of their own.

“Music Makers” week: June 10th-13th. Children will have fun learning about music. They will also create some music makers of their own to bring home to play!

“Diving into Summer” week: July 8th-11th. Children will have fun learning about life under the ocean. We will also have fun singing and dancing to our new “SCUBA VBS” songs & make some cool crafts.

“Splish, Splash” week: July 15th-18th. Children will have fun with a variety of water play activities & make some undersea crafts!
