Whitewater Lake

Located slightly south of Tom Johns Landing and White Oak Landing off Porter Pond Road, Whitewater Lake Recreation Area provides access to Whitewater Lake.

Whitewater Lake is located approximately 24 miles from downtown Chipley. From Chipley, the site is best accessed by traveling east on Greenhead Road until turning north on Porter Pond Road.

Visitors also can take an alternate route by turning north off of State Road 20 on to Porter Pond Road (referred to at this spot on older maps as Strickland Road) and following signage into the site.

Whitewater Lake features a screened pavilion, a picnic table, fire rings, pedestal grills, a dock, a portable toilet, and a reservable campsite. The campsite will hold a maximum of 10 people.

A small canoe launch provides access to Whitewater Lake.
