Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles Volunteers

If your child is under 18, they can Volunteer with their shirted parent. Children 8 and older should attend training with one or both parents. The parents wear the shirt. Children who need volunteer hours can can earn them as the work with their parents.

It is our goal to change the beach culture one friendly visitor encounter at a time. We believe an informed guest will invest in the beauty of our area, be more respectful of the shore birds and marine life, and understand better #cleandarkflat.
There are NO requirements to join. It is up to you how much time you donate, where you Volunteer, and which passion you emphasize in your service. We are all ages ranging from 18-85. We all have different abilities and gifts to offer. Some work at trash pick up while others engage every tourist they see. We are found everywhere; on the beach, walking the Timpoochee Trail, shopping for groceries, out eating lunch. We are where our visitors are found. Our team has room for everyone so please consider joining the Volunteer Beach Ambassadors of South Walton.
