Explore the Bay with Papa Joe’s Pontoons

We're excited to announce that while pontoon boat rentals continue to be a highlight at Papa Joe’s Bayside, they are now proudly operated by Salty Pontoons. Enjoy the same great location with the added expertise and service of Salty Pontoons to enhance your on-water experience.

We offer quality, clean, and affordable pontoon boats that come equipped with a 4-stroke outboard, AM/FM stereo, stern ladders, and life jackets. Boats are 23-Foot and can accomodate up to 11 people.

Click on the book now below above or call (850) 695 - 1958. We offer both half-day (4 Hours) and full-day (8 Hours) rentals depending on the length of time you'd like to occupy the boat.

All vessel operators are required to be at least 25 YEARS OF AGE with a valid ID. All renters born ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 1988 MUST HAVE a Florida boaters license or boaters safety card. Pontoon boats are about the safest vessels out there to operate, especially for newbies who have never driven a boat. You’ll find our pontoons offer a smooth and safe ride for the whole family. All boats come equipped with USGC safety equipment and life jackets.

We are known as the sunshine state but we understand the occasional thunderstorm can pop up and cut your trip short. If the weatherman is predicting bad weather we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

Jet Ski Adventures Await!

Experience the thrill of the waves with AAA Jet Ski's, now bookable right here through Papa Joe’s Bayside. While we host a variety of activities, please note that the jet ski rentals are conveniently located just down the road from us, on the west side of the port at the foot of the bridge at 5611 US-98 SUITE 1, PANAMA CITY, FL 32401. It’s a quick trip to where your water adventure begins! AAA Jet Ski’s is the only jet ski company that offers dolphin tours with guided and unguided ride time. If you are familiar with our waterways and have jet ski experience, we also offer unguided jet ski rentals! View our rates and tour information below.

2-HOUR SHELL ISLAND DOLPHIN TOUR

Visit Shell Island and swim with the Dolphins!

  • $139 – 9:00am tour
  • $149 – 11:30, 2:00, and 4:30 tour
  • Two guests per jet ski, with a max weight of 350 LBS

This tour is a moderate to medium-paced tour. Follow your AAA Jet Ski guide from the tranquil waters of St. Andrew Bay into the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico as you see bottle-nosed Dolphins. The guided portion of the Shell Island tour is approximately one hour, the remaining time is yours to explore at your own pace without the guide or group. At the conclusion of the tour, the group will gather and ride back together.  You are required to bring a phone to keep up with your time. The guide will instruct you when to return so that the group can make it back to the marina on time. You may also bring water or a sports drink with you.

UNGUIDED JET SKI RENTALS

Explore Shell Island on a jet ski in Panama City Beach, no guide required! Cruise the Gulf around the island or drop anchor and snorkel secluded areas of Shell Island Beach! AAA Jet Ski provides a map of our area and then your on your way to explore the waterways. Unguided rentals can be booked over the phone.
