Discover Sailing Workshop
Discover Sailing Workshops are an excellent hands-on opportunity for the introduction to sailing or an excellent refresher to regain your sailing confidence.
This 3 hour on the water workshop teaches Basic Sailing Terminology, Parts and Functions, Helm commands, Sail trim, seamanship and safety while sailing. Each workshop is during the afternoon, beginning at 1 pm.
Customize your workshop or workshops to fit your schedule and level of experience. We will happily assist in scheduling your workshop.
Each class is $350.00 per student, with a limit of 4 students per class.
Basic Sailing Course
Learn how to safely and efficiently sail boats up to 30 feet long, in light to moderate wind and sea conditions. Basic Sailing Terminology, Parts and Functions, Helm Commands, Sail trim, seamanship, safety, navigation, aids to navigation, Radio communication. Skills: Hoist/set sails safely and correctly to obtain proper sail trim, points of sail, and tacking. Getting out of Irons, heaving to and rules of the road.
2 day class (12 hours) is $795 per student
3 day class (18 hours) is $1080 per student
NauticEd Sailing Certification
We offer sailing certification through NauticEd.org, “The worlds most advanced sailing education and sailing certification program.” A globally recognized sailing accreditation program. After completing the online course, our instructor will sail with you through the practical exercises and sign off in your online logbook.
NauticEd Proficiency Sails (each day is a minimum of 4 hours on the water)
1 student $400, for first day, each day there after $300,
2 students $700, for first day, each day there after $400

What to bring:
Check the weather ahead of time and dress for the occasion. We recommend: Sunscreen (lotion only, no oils or sprays), lightweight jacket, sunglasses, hat, camera, either white sole shoes or boating shoes. We offer ice and bottled water (cups included). Alcohol is permitted but not provided nor do we purchase upon request. Please bring along any food and/or drinks preferred.
All our charters and lessons are non-smoking or vaping.
Sea sickness is a possibility, if you are prone to motion sickness, taking precautions prior your charter or lesson is recommended. Any charter or lessons altered due to sea sickness will be charged full cost of charter. Prices are subject to change without notice.
