- Book with Jamie TutnjevicJamie discovered Yoga and Ayurveda after struggling for decades with chronic back pain. Soon after, she could see and feel the difference the occasional practice would make. Weekly turned into every couple days, and that shortly turned into daily. After practicing daily for nearly three years, she could see that yoga was more than a way to help with her back pain, but a way to help others.
Jamie Tutnjevic
Teacher/Owner
From there, Jamie enrolled in the Simple Ayurveda Collective to further her Ayurvedic studies with her first teacher Angela Perger. Jamie then enrolled in the Online Yoga and Ayurveda Center through Steph Ball-Mitchell for her Yoga Teacher Training and eventually finished her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (YTT500).
She has completed her Ayurvedic Specialist Program as a well as Advanced Yin Teacher, Children's, Restorative, and Chair Yoga specialities with her beloved Yoga Teacher Training Teacher, Steph Ball-Mitchell.
She’s now teaching at the Yoga Garden Collective and continues to explore ways to help others with the power of yoga. Jamie’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on the balance between mental and physical health, strength and flexibility, exertion, and release. Her classes focus on restoration, movement, and balance, you can expect to move, sweat, breathe, and have some laughs.

USA Cheer Certified Cheer Coach - Book with Julia DwyerJulia discovered yoga in 2001 while visiting a friend in San Diego, CA. After one hot yoga class, she was hooked. When she returned home to Virginia Beach, VA she found a studio near her work and began taking classes. At this studio she began practicing Vinyasa Flow yoga. Her practice continued and yoga became a constant thread in her life.
Julia Dwyer
Teacher
In 2005, Julia attended her first yoga teacher training in Chesapeake, VA. Here she was able to become a 200 hr RYT. Her training specialized in hot vinyasa flow yoga. As Navy spouse, Julia and her husband moved every couple of years from one duty station to another. At each new location Julia would search for a yoga studio where she could practice and/or teach. After returning to Chicago from being stationed in Japan, Julia was able to find a hot yoga studio offering Vinyasa Flow. Feeling the need to sharpen her teaching skills and style, Julia attended another 200 hr yoga teacher training at her Chicago studio.
Once her husband retired from the Navy, Julia and her husband moved to Freeport, FL in 2022 to be closer to their family. Julia’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and release. Her classes focus on Vinyasa Flow, and you can expect to move, sweat, and breathe. - Book with Kayla Munoz

The Yoga Garden Collective is a blessing. I was a little nervous about starting something I knew absolutely nothing about but the instructors are so friendly and compassionate. This has become my haven from the storm of the world. I highly recommend everyone to come and give it a try.

The Yoga Garden in Freeport is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a sense of calm, warmth, and welcome that’s hard to find anywhere else. The space is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and filled with good energy.
What makes this place special, though, is Jamie, the owner. She is incredibly kind, genuine, and attentive. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, she meets you exactly where you are with compassion and encouragement. Her classes are thoughtfully guided, blending mindfulness, movement, and a deep sense of care. It’s clear she puts her heart into everything she does.
If you’re looking for a place to practice yoga, find a little peace, or just feel supported and seen, I can’t recommend The Yoga Garden is enough. Jamie has created something truly special here. - Tammy Kearce·2 months ago·from Google
