Fort Walton Beach Library Arbor Day Celebration

The Fort Walton Beach Public Library will host an Arbor Day-themed event with a variety of vendors and activities that celebrate the important role trees play in our ecosystem. Got questions about trees and plants? We’ll have groups and organizations on hand to answer your questions, including the Florida Forest Service, the Garnier Beach Garden Club, the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, and the Okaloosa County Natural Resources Department. Our vendors will have Arbor Day and nature-related presentations, and we’ll have hands-on activities, including an Arbor Day-themed LEGO building event and a station where children can plant their own wildflowers to take home. We’ll also have giveaways of plants and vegetable sprouts from local plant nurseries.
