 mentals of pencil sketching. This class is designed for beginner and interm
 ediate artists who want to build confidence with graphite while learning ho
 w to observe, understand, and translate what they see onto paper.<br /><br 
 />Every Thursday, September 3-24 • 5-7pm<br />Ages: 13+<br />Cost: $125 Mem
 ber / $135 Not-Yet-Member<br /><br />Students will explore basic drawing te
 chniques, shading, composition, and ways to create depth and detail using g
 raphite pencils. Each week will build on the skills learned in the previous
  lesson, allowing students to practice at their own pace while developing t
 heir individual drawing style.<br /><br />Day 1: Learning to See<br />Learn
  how to break down what you see into simple lines, shapes, and forms. Pract
 ice identifying details without becoming overwhelmed by them. Explore light
 , dark, and the different values of gray. Learn basic principles of composi
 tion and how to arrange elements within a drawing.<br /><br />Day 2: Buildi
 ng Your Skills<br />Learn how to combine lines, shapes, and shading to crea
 te a finished drawing. Explore techniques for creating light, shadow, contr
 ast, and depth. Practice different ways of holding and using a pencil to cr
 eate a variety of effects. Learn how pressure, movement, and pencil directi
 on can change the look of your drawing.<br /><br />Day 3: Practice & Reflec
 tion<br />Review your work and discuss your progress with fellow students. 
 Share experiences, ideas, and techniques in a supportive environment. Learn
  how careful observation and attention to detail can be applied to differen
 t drawing styles and artistic mediums. Identify areas to continue practicin
 g and developing.<br /><br />Day 4: Create & Have Fun!<br />Put your new sk
 ills and techniques into practice. Complete a drawing project using the con
 cepts explored throughout the class. Experiment with different approaches w
 hile developing your own creative style. Most importantly, have fun and enj
 oy the process of drawing!<br /><br />You are welcome to bring your own sup
 plies. However, we will provide all necessary supplies. Sign up by Tuesday,
