 mentals of pencil sketching. This class is designed for beginner and interm
 ediate artists who want to build confidence with graphite while learning ho
 w to observe, understand, and translate what they see onto paper.\n\nEvery 
 Thursday, September 3-24 • 5-7pm\nAges: 13+\nCost: $125 Member / $135 Not-Y
 et-Member\n\nStudents will explore basic drawing techniques, shading, compo
 sition, and ways to create depth and detail using graphite pencils. Each we
 ek will build on the skills learned in the previous lesson, allowing studen
 ts to practice at their own pace while developing their individual drawing 
 style.\n\nDay 1: Learning to See\nLearn how to break down what you see into
  simple lines, shapes, and forms. Practice identifying details without beco
 ming overwhelmed by them. Explore light, dark, and the different values of 
 gray. Learn basic principles of composition and how to arrange elements wit
 hin a drawing.\n\nDay 2: Building Your Skills\nLearn how to combine lines, 
 shapes, and shading to create a finished drawing. Explore techniques for cr
 eating light, shadow, contrast, and depth. Practice different ways of holdi
 ng and using a pencil to create a variety of effects. Learn how pressure, m
 ovement, and pencil direction can change the look of your drawing.\n\nDay 3
 : Practice & Reflection\nReview your work and discuss your progress with fe
 llow students. Share experiences, ideas, and techniques in a supportive env
 ironment. Learn how careful observation and attention to detail can be appl
 ied to different drawing styles and artistic mediums. Identify areas to con
 tinue practicing and developing.\n\nDay 4: Create & Have Fun!\nPut your new
  skills and techniques into practice. Complete a drawing project using the 
 concepts explored throughout the class. Experiment with different approache
 s while developing your own creative style. Most importantly, have fun and 
 enjoy the process of drawing!\n\nYou are welcome to bring your own supplies
