FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview

FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview

As a charitable nonprofit, FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview (FFN) manages the system of foster care and related services for abused, abandoned and neglected children in Northwest Florida. As the community based care lead agency since 2001, FFN is accountable for providing about 5000 children annually.
For families needing assistance to address the issues found in the investigation, FamiliesFirst Network works with referred parents to keep children safe and families together, whenever possible. In cases where the State has determined a child cannot safely stay with their family, FamiliesFirst Network looks to place children first with relatives and only as a last resort to place a child in licensed foster care. After all other options to reunify the child with the family safely are exhausted; FamiliesFirst Network finds adoptive homes for foster children.
FFN helps children who have experienced abuse, neglect and trauma to protect the children and to strengthen their families, as required by the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families contract. As a community-based lead agency serving Okaloosa, Walton, Santa Rosa and Escambia counties, FFN relies on the support and engagement of our communities to provide case management services, foster care homes, and to embrace foster children into adoptive homes. All clients are referred through the Department of Children and Families and there is no cost to clients for FamiliesFirst Network’s services
FFN operates seven service centers in Circuit One which are located in Fort Walton Beach, Crestview, DeFuniak Springs, Navarre, Milton and Pensacola. Offices hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.
