Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar Polar Bear Plunge

Rinse off the old, welcome the new! Join the South Walton Fire District on New Year's Day for a Polar Bear Plunge. Funds collected at the event will benefit community education and fire prevention activities such as free CPR courses and fire prevention materials.
In-person sign-up starts at 11 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar on January 1, 2023.
There will be a costume contest at 12 p.m. It's open to all plunge participants!
We will officially plunge into the New Year at 1 p.m. This event is family-friendly.
Every participant gets a T-shirt with their entry fee. Proceeds go toward SWFD's community education initiatives.
You can sign up AHEAD OF TIME by visiting the SWFD HQ during weekly business hours.
After the plunge is over, join us back at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar to celebrate the start of the New Year.
