Website Content Management. We are specifically looking to hire a stay-at-home parent who wants to earn some money while working at home publishing content on our website. This is not a social media management position. We will not be contracting any marketing firms, SEO agencies, social media management companies or content management companies for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Searching for businesses, organizations, and events and adding to the directory and calendar.
  • Updating and verifying existing listings, pages, and sections
  • Reviewing listings submissions, emails, and Facebook posts regarding website content and making edits as needed.
  • Sending an email newsletter twice a week

Work Schedule:

Work may be completed at home or any location with access to the internet. All computer work can be done any time of day or day of the week that is convenient for candidate. It is expected that candidates will be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week for at least a dedicated 2-3 hours at a time. (This is not work that can be completed in short spurts throughout the day.) Candidate must have some availability Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for initial online training and must be able to attend monthly workshops which are held on Friday mornings (usually about 1 hour). The workload averages 10-15 hours a week. Some months it might be more, and some months it might be less. Our peak seasons are February-May and mid-September to mid-December. Our slowest times are any time the kids are out of school.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must live in Okaloosa, Walton, or Bay County.
  • Detail Oriented – is able to follow the Fun4USKids guidelines and proof work. Ensure details are accurate and links work. Proof-Reading / Fact Checking experience is preferred.
  • Writing and Editing Skills - basic style and grammar rules, and should have the ability to condense information into a readable format.
  • Technical Skills – comfortable learning new software, searching the internet and using social media.
  • Organization Skills – must be able to manage own time, and get work done without supervision or follow-up.

Training:

We provide a comprehensive training program, workshops and tons of support! Training will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks. There will be a 2-3 hour training session once a week with assigned work related to that training session each week. The training is cumulative, and each week builds on the previous week’s training and assigned work.

Compensation: $600/month

This is a contract worker position. If hired, you will need to submit an invoice for the work performed for the previous month.

Part of the compensation offered is tickets and other trade items as they come available. It is not required to accept any items offered. The value of all items accepted will be reported as income to the IRS.
