Grow Your Gift Conservatory of Music FWB Intro to Music Summer Session

Our 2026 summer music program is taking it back to the basics. New performers will learn how to express emotions, project confidence, and captivate an audience during this one-week session. Ages 10 – 12 years old.

Students will learn:
Rhythms and note values
Basic musicality and ear training
Instrument exploration (boomwhackers, singing, and bucket drums)
Creative expression through songwriting
How to read simple music notation

This is the perfect introduction to music for kids who will be joining band or chorus! Performers will end camp with a demonstration for parents showcasing what they’ve accomplished in just five days!
