Schedule of Events for March 17 & 18: Young Astronauts Planetarium Show, Creature Features, & sciPad

Blast off to the planetarium in this show perfect for astronauts-in-training ages 3-5 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. All ages are welcome, but the focus on this show will be for the little ones to enjoy! Tickets for this show can be purchased at our front desk. Learn more about our planetarium dome, seating, and more here. Tickets for the planetarium do include an additional fee.

Join us for a Creature Feature from 12:30-1:00 p.m. and check out some of our awesome Animal Ambassadors! Seating for the Creature Feature is available on a first come, first served basis. No reservations accepted.

Travel back in time and space to witness the Mayan Observers of the Universe planetarium show at 2 p.m. This is a unique planetarium show intertwining science and mythology, transporting you on a poetic journey describing the way the Maya viewed and understood the Universe. Tickets for the planetarium do include an additional fee.

Listen...can you hear that? It’s the sound of the Earth! Global Soundscapes takes you on a sound safari to explore the health of our planet...with your ears. Enjoy Soundscapes shows at 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. Tickets for this show can be purchased at our front desk. Learn more about our planetarium dome, seating, and more here. Spring into action and save the planet! Create your very own spring-loaded superhero toy that uses the power of physics to leap into conservation. Then, channel your hero’s energy by sorting items into recycle, trash, or compost bins, learning how smart decisions can protect our environment. Harness the science of springs and the power of conservation to become a true Climate Action SuperHero!
