Destin Fire Control District Junior Lifeguard Program

The Junior Lifeguard Program offers youth ages 8 through 15 an opportunity to participate in a three-week program during the summer and teaches kids a variety of skills. They learn things such as First Aid, CPR & AED training, marine life identification and water awareness.

Swim Test Required for Eligibility to Participate (swim test will consist of a timed swim, covering the distance of 100 yards for all age groups)
Swim Test Dates (swim tests will ONLY be conducted on these dates)
March 22nd – 10:00 a.m. Tajrenee Aquatic Center
March 29th – 10:00 a.m. Tajrenee Aquatic Center
April 5th – 10:00 a.m. Tajrenee Aquatic Center

The program will take place in Destin, Florida. Program dates and times are as follows:
June 9, 2025 to July 24, 2025 (Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 12pm)
No session week of July 4th)
