Taylor Haugen Scholarship

The Taylor Haugen Foundation awards six $1,500 scholarships each year in memory of Taylor Reid Haugen, Class of 2011. Taylor was an honor student at Niceville High School and a dedicated member of the Niceville Eagles Football and Wrestling teams. He was openly expressive about his Christian faith and lived it out through his commitment to volunteer service in his church and community.

These scholarships are awarded to area student-athletes who exemplify a well-rounded balance of academics, athleticism, leadership, community service, and Christian faith. The Foundation seeks to recognize individuals who demonstrate perseverance, personal growth, and a genuine appreciation for God’s gifts in all aspects of life.

Each spring, six Taylor Haugen Scholarships are awarded: one student from Bay County, one from Walton County, three from Okaloosa County (including one Niceville High School student), and one from Santa Rosa County.
