Battleship Memorial Park welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world each year. These guests come to tour the Park and learn about the men who served aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM, our nation’s military history, and the price paid for freedom.
Visitors to Battleship Memorial Park will be able to board the Battleship USS ALABAMA and explore 12 decks. Go aboard and down inside the oldest Submarine on public display, USS DRUM. View over 25 rare and historic aircraft.
Although the Park features Battleship USS ALABAMA (BB-60) and Submarine USS DRUM (SS-228), both National Historic Landmarks, three other vessels are included in the Park. Outside, at the Coast Guard Memorial are a 26-foot Motor Surf Launch and a 41-foot Utility Boat –Large (UTB). Inside the Aircraft Pavilion is a Vietnam-era River Patrol Boat (PBR).
Tanks, boats, planes, memorials, and artillery dot the scenic surroundings at Battleship Memorial Park. Since the Park is dedicated to those who served in all branches of the United States Armed Forces, you will find artifacts from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.
