Lakeview Center of Walton County – formerly Chautauqua Healthcare Services – works to strengthen families and make a positive impact from our location in DeFuniak Springs. The team provides counseling to a variety of people experiencing a wide range of mental health and substance misuse issues.
Adults and children can access a comprehensive array of mental health and substance misuse treatments including:
Outpatient counseling including anger management
Psychiatric treatment
Crisis counseling
Case management
Screening and referrals to services
Healthy Start education and support service provider
Women and Children’s Center residential treatment for women struggling with substance misuse. Women who are pregnant or postpartum can bring their infant with them into the program, keeping mom and baby together so moms can get the care they need while babies benefit from staying with their mothers.
Residential treatment for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. These clients must have cognitive functioning impaired by chronic substance abuse.
Residential treatment for adults with pervasive mental illness who need help learning daily living tasks like paying bills and taking medications. Lakeview Center caregivers teach skills to help prepare those we serve go back into community again.
