Sacred Heart Hospital Friends & Family Infant CPR Class

Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast now hosts infant cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes in the Family Birth Place, 2nd Floor Classroom. The American Heart Association course includes training in infant CPR, first aid for a child who is choking, and additional basic first aid skills. The instructor will use a baby-size mannequin to demonstrate how to perform each technique, including how far back to tilt your baby’s head and how much pressure to apply during CPR. Each participant will receive a Family and Friends CPR guide. Space is limited and registration is required.

This class meets in the Family Birth Place classroom located on the 2nd floor of the Family Birth Place. The classroom is next to the waiting room. Snacks and drinks are welcome.
