Florida Virtual School Drivers Education Course

Florida Law Requires State-Approved Driver Education Course for a Learner’s License. If you're a teen that is planning on getting a Florida learner’s license, there’s an important state requirement. Students are required to complete a state-approved driver education course that provides essential knowledge and skills for safe driving.

The FLVS Driver Education course is approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV). It is available tuition-free* for most Florida residents.
