This isn’t your grandpa’s music school. Nope, we’re taking a rocking and grooving approach to music instruction. Let’s face it, traditional music lessons are boring and really fail to engage the student on a level that is required to maintain interest. We want our students to ROCK!…or hoe down….or hootnanny…or whatever their tastes may be…

That’s why we only have real musicians with real world gigging experience teaching real world students. In other words, we aren’t starting our students out with learning how to play “Mary Had a Little Lamb”. We’re teaching them rock classics, country staples, new hits, and the ins-and-outs of playing music in the real world.

Located in Freeport just off of 331 on HWY 20, we offer private music instruction and couple it with opportunities for group projects, while also giving our students real world stage performance experience.

In addition to learning music, our students also have opportunities to learn the following:

1. How to book gigs, set up sound equipment, mix live sound, engage an audience, etc.
2. The social dynamics of playing within a group,
3. How to play and care for their instrument and/or voice.
4. How to play well…musically… with others of varying skill levels.
5. How to cooperate with others to obtain a mutual goal.
6. How to deal with egocentric personalities and control their own.
