Heartland Rescue Ranch

Heartland Rescue Ranch is a As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and has been the refuge for thousands of animals rescued, rehabilitated, re-homed, or sanctuaried for over 10 years.

Founded by long-time animal lover and rescuer, Amy Shepherd. We are a safe haven for over 100 sanctuaried animals and help as many others as we can. We welcome visitors by appointment. We also invite groups and schools to come out! If you would like more information, please get in touch.

Kid volunteers welcome! Heartland is always looking for volunteers to interact with the animals, clean stalls, and other ranch chores. Young children must be accompanied by an adult. We are a safe haven for over 35 sanctuaried animals (horses, dogs, rabbits, pigs, and more!) and we help as many others as we can. We welcome visitors by appointment. We also invite groups and schools to come out!
