Islander Resort Destin Winter Sandyland

- Cost: Free to attend. Donation of an unopened toy or giftcards/cash will be accepted.
What is winter Sandyland? It is a Christmas themed sand sculpture walkthrough exhibit toy drive. Gift card and cash donations will be given to a local organization (last year was Children in Crisis). Toy donations will be dispersed throughout Okaloosa County to our community kids. Last year the toys were dispersed through Erase the Trace Okaloosa Adopt a Family program. My daughters and I also went to local parks handing out toys to the children on the playground. The remainder of the toys was donated to help boost a toy drive in the Sylvania Heights Community within Fort Walton Beach.
The location for this year's event Will be held at the Islander Resort in Destin, Florida.
