Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park C.A.R.E.ing for Turtles

The Gulfarium C.A.R.E. Center is partnering with Destin-Fort Walton Beach to bring awareness to sea turtle conservation and our nesting beaches. During this interactive class, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the C.A.R.E. Center after-hours and get a behind-the-scenes look into the operations of the rehabilitation center, meet some of the current sea turtle patients, and learn how to perform a mock intake of an injured sea turtle. You’ll also learn all about sea turtle nesting habits with Destin-Fort Walton Beach’s Coastal Resource Coordinator, and how to best take care of our beaches, emerald waters, and, in turn, the sea turtles that call it home.
Guests must be age 8 or older to participate. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a participating (paying) adult over the age of 18. Participants with special needs including mobility, seeing, or hearing impairments must contact Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park prior to reserving the class
