Youth Etiquette Classes

First Impressions last! What does yours say about you? You have seven seconds to make a first impression and what happens in those first seven seconds will decide if someone wants to get to know you, or not... What to say and when to say it, is more important than most realize.
This course will help 25 youth in our community to see the values in financial literacy, how they look, act, and conduct themselves around their peers.
Date: June 3rd - June 24th (Every Monday)
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Glenwood Community Center
Ages: Grades 9-12
What to Expect: 4 weeks of training to include:
TABLE ETIQUETTE: Learning proper table and dining manners that create a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience to include a hands on formal dining setting technique class.
CLASSROOM ETIQUETTE: Learning appropriate and respectful behavior expected from students and teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment.
FINANCIAL ETIQUETTE: Learning key components of Financial Literacy including making informed and effective decisions, basic financial skills, personal financial management, budgeting and investing.
BUSINESS ETIQUETTE: Preparing students to learn proper behavior,
effective communication skills, and attitudes necessary for professional interaction in the professional world.
