Grab your costumes and head to The Island Resort for a hauntingly good time at Boo on the Beach. This two-hour event is packed with free family-friendly Halloween fun on the Beach Patio, with something for everyone to enjoy. The night kicks off with a ghost story told by Mickey the Pirate, who will captivate the audience with a brand-new tale. Following the story, the fire poi dancers will take the stage, adding a fiery twist to the Halloween festivities. Guests are free to explore the games, snack options, and surprise dance performances happening throughout the evening. Guests can snap a photo with a spooky mermaid and enjoy performances from dancers from Studio FuZion.
For the adults, the Cocktail Walk offers a frighteningly good time, with a $25 ticket and punch card granting access to four spooky cocktails at various locations at the resort. Cocktail Walk attendees will use their punch card while grabbing one cocktail at each bar: Coastal Kitchen, The Island Grille, The Grotto, and Tripp Tide Bar. After the night ends, the Cocktail Walk punch card can be redeemed for 20% off food at Coastal Kitchen from November 1 to November 30, 2024.
The highlight of the night will be the Halloween costume contest, where guests of all ages can wear their best costumes for a chance to win a prize. The contest will be split into three categories, with the winner in each category receiving a fun Halloween-themed prize and trophy.
Category 1: Ages 0-11
Category 2: Ages 12-16
Category 3: Ages 17 and up
For those bringing their Halloween A-game, there will also be two additional prizes for the best Group Costume, with the winner of this category scoring a Family Day Resort Pass to the resort. The night wraps up with a Halloween-themed Full Moon Party with dancing, a DJ, and kids' dance routines. Be sure to grab your favorite Halloween costume for a spooktacular time at Boo on the Beach! Boo on the Beach is free to both locals and resort guests. Cocktail Walk punch cards are available for purchase for $25 on the day of the event at the first stop, Coastal Kitchen.
