Wild Sea Turtle Wednesdays at The Big Chill 30A

Did you make your plans to join us at Wild Sea Turtle Wednesday, winner of Best Kids Activity in Walton County? We hope to see you and to celebrate, we are giving out our first ever offered string backpacks for all children who attend. They're filled with activity books, repurposed crayons, a cool hand fan, a Jr Ocean Ranger badge and more! We offer a short educational chat at 9am and again at 10am.
A few things you can expect to see and do at our educational outreach:
1) Talk to our Egg-spert and find out how many eggs a sea turtle lays!
2) See and touch real sea turtle skulls.
3) Stand next to our life size metal or hand painted sea turtle replicas and see how big an adult sea turtle can be!
4) Learn why it's important to keep all beaches #cleandarkflat and what that means.
5) Why are sea turtles important to our oceans and earth?
**We also offer a fundraising merchandise table where you can:
1) Adopt a symbolic sea turtle or even adopt a whole clutch! (What's a clutch?)
2) Pick a wooden sea turtle to paint on our paint tables.
3) Go home with a plush sea turtle that can be scanned with your smartphone and opens to a page that tells all about sea turtles.
4) Bracelets? Yep. Kid hats? Yep. Stickers? Yep.
We accept Venmo and Cash only, small bills please. We can’t wait to see you there!
