NERD Lab Niceville Field Goal Kicker Challenge

Kicking Off the Next STEM Community Challenge! The next competition is here — and it’s a brand-new collaboration between NERD Lab and IS4S, proudly sponsored by the IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl! Students in grades 3–12 will design and build a field goal kicker to launch footballs through a half-scale goalpost, testing their accuracy, power, and reliability. Creativity. Teamwork. Engineering. Winning teams and family will receive tickets to the 2025 IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl on December 16th in Montgomery, AL. Those in attendance will be recognized at the pre-game Fan Fest and on the field during a television timeout.
