Tonight's Galactic Adventure is a Double Feature!

Mysteries of Your Brain (22 minutes)
Jump into an animated adventure following a girl and her crow companion as they explore what makes the human brain so special. Together you’ll zoom along the paths of neurons, find out how human and animal brains differ, and experience illusions on a grand scale! Along the way, you’ll learn how your brain makes you, well, you, and see that ultimately, we each have the power to change our brains. An Original Bell Museum Production made possible through generous support from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation and Boston Scientific.

Mars: The Ultimate Voyage (25 minutes)
This dynamic, animated experience highlights real NASA research and initiatives that are preparing the next generation of astronauts to travel to Mars. It illuminates how creativity, collaboration, communication, and expertise in a diverse number of fields are key for the success of deep space travel—while also inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals! This planetarium show is produced by the Bell Museum, in partnership with NASA and UNC Morehead Planetarium and Science Center.

Our Planetarium is an inflatable dome. Guests sit on cushions on the floor of the planetarium to view the show. Space is limited; purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended for this reason. On Planetarium Night, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled showing. In case of no-shows/late shows: reserved spots will be released at show time to make space for the next party.

Shows begin at 6 and 7 pm and last approximately 35-45 minutes, plus a few minutes for a brief introduction and time after each show to answer any questions.

Don't miss the preshow, included with your reservation! Our planetarium preshow begins at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. show and 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show. During, your family can discover and learn about various space explorations, space facts, and more from our local experts at the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association.
