Panama City Center for the Arts Galentine's Crochet Workshop (Ages 12+)

Grab your besties and stitch the night away at our Galentine’s Day Crochet Workshop! This cozy, creative evening is all about good vibes, cute yarn, and quality girl time so grab your crew and your favorite Social District drink and come on over to create with us!
Each guest will crochet one heart-themed granny square—perfect for gifting, decorating, or turning into a future project—while chatting, laughing, and unwinding with the girls. Some crochet experience is helpful, but beginners are welcome too. Feel free to bring your own yarn and hook, but don’t stress—we’ll have extras on hand if you need them. Just show up ready to create and connect!
Recommended Materials:
- Medium weight cotton yarn (sugar & cream, peaches & cream or other store brands work great) but any yarn brand of your choosing is fine; colors must be white, cream, or grey, & pink, red, or purple
- Hook size depends on the specifics of your yarn (if you can only get 1, start with a G or H hook (4.5mm-5mm) *metal hooks recommended - Clover is a good brand
- Yarn needle
- Small scissors (such as sewing scissors)
- Stitch markers are very helpful but not always necessary. They can be a great little tool for beginners.
*Bonus materials to have on hand: a ruler or cloth tape measurer
