Discover the magic of wet-on-wet oil painting! Step into the world of expressive, joyful painting and create your own stunning landscape in just two hours. This beginner-friendly workshop will guide you every step of the way as Craig Domko teaches how to use the classic wet-on-wet oil painting technique. No experience? No problem. This relaxed, encouraging class is designed for anyone who’s ever wanted to try oil painting but didn’t know where to start.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to:
• Prepare a canvas for wet-on-wet painting
• Build a landscape from background to foreground
• Blend soft, atmospheric skies and clouds
• Create depth and texture with simple techniques
• Paint those iconic happy little trees!
• Finish a complete painting you’ll be proud to take home
Everything is provided. Just show up and create. Bring your curiosity, a willingness to explore, and a sense of fun. You’ll leave not only with a finished painting, but with new skills and the confidence to keep creating.
Be sure to dress appropriately for this class. You will be working with oil paints so there is the potential to get it on your clothes, shoes, etc.
