Get ready, Okaloosa County! The America 250th Celebration & Grand Parade is set to be one of the largest and most patriotic events in our country’s history as we honor 250 years of freedom, resilience, and the American spirit. We are thrilled to announce that Crestview native and Speedskater Olympian Mia Manganello will be one of our Grand Marshals!

The event will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Main Street in Downtown Crestview, located at 114 N Main Street. The celebration will be held on the steps of the Okaloosa County Courthouse at 1:00 p.m., and the parade will start at 4:00 p.m., beginning on South Main Street.

This unforgettable celebration will feature a spectacular grand parade filled with vibrant floats, marching bands, veterans' tributes, community organizations, cultural groups, and special guest appearances. Families will line the streets as red, white, and blue fill the air in a powerful display of unity and pride. We would also love to see you in your favorite patriotic gear or colonial attire!

The celebration will include live entertainment, food trucks, patriotic vendors, and a high-energy atmosphere, bringing the entire community together. From honoring our nation’s history to celebrating the future, this milestone event will showcase the heart and spirit of Okaloosa County.

Join us as we make history together and celebrate 250 years of America, bigger, bolder, and more united than ever before!
